Luhamaa nulk is one of the twelve historical nulks of Setomaa. The mountainous landscape, the historic Riga-Pihkva road (kivitii), the border point, the old Seto farm architecture and the beautiful Orthodox church characterize this part of Setomaa.
You can enjoy all this if you come on a hike with the hike guide, sootska Aarne Leima. The length of the route is approximately 6 kilometers. Among other things, we will study the map of Setomaa and talk about the foundation of Setomaa, visit the Orthodox church, climb the highest mountain in Setomaa, Mäeniidümäe (224.5 m).
The hike will take place on Saturday, July 8, starting at 11:30 a.m. and will last about 2.5 to 3 hours. The starting point is the ticket booth in the parking lot. The participation fee of €15 also includes a donation to the church to open the doors for our tour. The hike is free for kids up to 11 years old.
